The 2012 Solengo is a magnicifant showing. This remarkable blend, composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Verdot and Syrah opens with gorgeous aromas of fresh blackberries and dark cherries woven together with spring floral, smoke, sweet pipe tobacco, spices and hints of earth which all come together in this outstanding Rosso. This possesses an impressive dense, concentrated palate, yet remains beautifully balanced and focused through the long finish. Overall, a gorgeous Solengo that will be accessible early on, but also shows the potential to age for many years to come.See detailed press review
