  • Tasting notes

Altaland Syrah displays a very intense red colour with purplish and blackish hues that denote its great concentration. There is great aromatic intensity, mainly red fruit combined with spiced notes as well as balanced and subtle sensations of liquorice, vanilla and coconut. In the mouth, it is an unctuous wine with gentle and round tannins. It is a long and persistent wine suitable for bottle ageing.

  • Viticultural notes

La Rioja is wild and stunningly romantic, with llamas, goats, ñandu and horses roaming in the wild and the largest number of Carnival holidays of any Argentine province. The abundant hills shade the vineyards from the bright afternoon sun, and syrah thrives here from this magical combination of sunlight, mineral-rich soils and cool mountain nights. Altaland is a wine dedicated to highlighting the extraordinary viticultural and cultural diversity of Argentina and its regions.

    April 2018

Brambleberries, underbrush and meatier elements as well some graphite undertones. Medium body, lots of fresh acidity, firm tannins and a juicy finish.
