The 2010 Gagliole Rosso is gorgeous in this vintage. A rich, deeply spiced wine, the 2010 is laced with cloves, cinnamon, plums, licorice and black cherries. A deep, dense wine, the 2010 is loaded with fruit, but at the same time, there is more than enough structure to provide support. All the elements are very nicely balanced here. The 2010 is 90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.See detailed press review

The 2010 Gagliole (90% Sangiovese blended with Cabernet Sauvignon) is a dark and hearty Tuscan red with thick layers of black fruit, spice, leather and fragrant pipe tobacco that peel off with steady determination. The palate is marked by similar intensity and there is enormous plushness and richness that is both memorable and impressive. It’s a great effort from a fantastic vintage that promises a long life ahead. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2028.See detailed press review
