The 2014 Chianti Classico Rubiolo is an absolutely gorgeous wine for the vintage. Sweet floral notes meld into a core of bright red cherry and raspberry fruit. Light on its feet yet pliant and expressive, the 2014 is impeccable from start to finish. A dollop of Merlot adds just enough richness to compensate for the slender personality of the year.
