Truett-Hurst is an innovative portfolio of premium wine brands based in the acclaimed Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, California. Sustainability is a driving force for Truett-Hurst. The entire portfolio of brands takes an environment first, holistic approach to producing wine. It's all about minimizing the environmental footprint, treating employees, community and neighbors with respect, and being financially viable so the land can remain agricultural and efforts continue to contribute to the region’s prosperity.

They offer a range of great value wines under the Truett-Hurst name, and house several sister brands including California Square, Curious Beasts, and Colby Red.

Anything but square, California Square is wine thinking out of the box. Based in Sonoma where the mood is progressive, relaxed, fun, cool and willing to try anything. Anything, like a completely square bottle that reduces the weight and materials needed to ship a case of Sustainably Farmed wine around the world so that less fuel is used and less waste is left over. Anything, like an expertly crafted, appellation wine delivered in a bottle so intriguing that once you’ve finished it, you might not want to put it in your recycling bin.

Curious Beasts is not for the timid or the cautious. No bones about it, Curious Beast Red Blend is a gutsy, full-bodied, ‘Blood Red Wine’ made for those ready to test new waters. This is a bang-for-your-buck kind of wine.

Colby Red is a truly meaningful venture. The California Red Blend is a delicious red wine dedicated to raising funds for cardiac research. This wine is named in honor of Colby Rex Groom, son of Winemaker Daryl Groom and his wife Lisa, who was born with Congenital Heart Disease. After two back to back open-heart surgeries to repair a defective heart valve, Colby now has a St. Jude Medical valve, and is living a healthy and happy life. Colby’s wish after his surgeries was that “no kid would ever have to through what he went through” and he asked his father if they could make a wine together where they could donate the profits and raise money for heart research. To date they have raised more than $500,000 globally for charities that promote heart health, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. This wine represents the Groom family’s efforts to use their passion for winemaking and viticulture to give back for the help and support Colby received.
